  1. Somethings you just cant make up .

So there i was walking around minding my own business and thinking "it'd be cool to find a marble". Not a single glass ball in sight.... nowhere ! But I notice a nice dusty rope looking border and thought "there's no way"! But WAY!
  2. I knew it !

About 2 weeks ago I was digging a promising sounding signal in an old drive way. I eventually called it quits because well, it was hot and I've busted concrete that wasn't that hard. It finally rained yesterday so I put my sniper coil on and went back for round two! I managed to find it this...
  3. New meaning to half off!

Unfortunately I didn't find this today. However I was convinced the other half of the buckle was in the general area. I think I may be wrong because it ain't turned up yet. The place is public and has been hammered harder than a toddlers swing set. I still got lucky with a nicely carved bullet...
  4. If you lose it, they will find it!

While digging a hole beside an old driveway to a house that doesn't exist anymore, I noticed a green ball on the side of the hole. That's the point when my ADD took over because I thought "maybe there's more" . So I dug very easily in a small circle and uncovered the rest of the marbles. All of...
  5. When you least expect it !

I decided to hunt all metal while looking for silver and I popped this 1 cent token up.
  6. I should know this.

Does anyone recognize this bullet? It's either an enfield or a Whitworth. It seems to long to be an enfield.
  7. Lady luck is on my side !

Had a good hunt! Silver, wheats, tokens and some beautiful jewelry! I'm nit sure how old the trigger guard is. But the token with the hole in the middle is from first national bank.
  8. A dainty little surprise!

I'm not sure if my machine was picking up a piece of tin or this little buckle but either way they were both in the same hole. I believe it's the smallest one I've ever found.
  9. Who lost their marbles!?!

I managed to find these beautiful pieces of history while hunting a newly demolished house. Originally the site contained a home and shop from the mid 1800s that spanned across the current property line.
  10. No expectations make for great surprises!

I decided to stop by a place I've been eying for a while now just to waste a few minutes of daylight. The first signal was the necklace, the 2nd was the ring and the last signal I dug was a Ilver stud earring. I'm definitely going to hunt the place the next chance I get!
  11. Finally

I've been hunting a house that was built in 1943. Mostly looking for silver. Surprisingly, the only silver I've dug over a 6 month period was a 1/4 spanish reale after a good rain one evening... until today that is. I finally found what I've been looking for! I've only found 2, maybe 3 wheat...
  12. ....Swimmin in a fishbowl

Its been a good day already. Just a couple of indian heads to add to the collection. The silver ring actually says some words across it and the seahorse.... well, it's a seahorse! As a veteran I think the dogtags belong with the owner who lost them. Would anyone by chance know if there is a...
  13. California dreaming!

I found these earlier in the week. I'm used to finding matchbox types of toy cars so I got excited about them. (Horse was added after cleaning up the new ride)
