Took a short drive to cash in the box of quarters at a bank a small town bank about 15 minutes away that allows me to buy bags from their coin machine. This is also the bank which I have found a few older pennies in the bags. Was hoping they would have a bag of half dollars (or part of one) but they only had $15 so I didn't bother with it. I did buy the 2 - $100 bags of nickels and 3 - $50 bags of pennies they had since I was there (not like I needed more to do but I couldn't pass it up).

The 2 nickel bags were so-so. No war nickels or buffalos.

Bag 1:
27 pre-1960 Jefferson (1939(2), 1941, 1947(2), 1947-S, 1951-S, 1952, 1953-D, 1954-D(2), 1955-D, 1956-D(2), 1957(2), 1957-D(4), 1958-D, 1959, 1959-D(5))

6 Canadian (1986, 1989, 1993, 1994, 1995, 1996)

3 Foreign
Great Britain, 1 New Penny(1971, 1975)
Russia, 1 Rouble (2005)

Also had 1 penny, 9 Aladdin's Castle tokens, and 1 play money nickel

Bag 2:
18 pre-1960 Jefferson (1941(2), 1942, 1946, 1947-D, 1948, 1950, 1951, 1953, 1957-D(2), 1958-D(4), 1959, 1959-D(2))

7 Canadian (1982, 1986, 1989(2), 1995, 1996, 1998)

2 Foreign (Japan, 1 Yen (1988, 1997)

The pennies will have to sit for a bit until I get through the other pennies I am behind on first. I'll update on those later.

Well did two of the three $50 bags of pennies so far with pretty good results.. at least regarding quality.

Bag 1
------
20 wheat pennies (19XX, 1914, 1934-D, 1936-D, 1939-D, 1940, 1944, 1945, 1947-D, 1952-D(2), 1953, 1954-S, 1956-D(2), 1957-D(3), 1958-D(2))
25 Canadian (1952, 1962, 1965, 1967, 1973(2), 1977(2), 1978, 1981, 1982, 1983, 1986, 1991(3), 1992, 1993, 1998(2), 1999(3), 2000, 2002)
8 play money "counterfeit" pennies

Bag 2
-------
10 wheat pennies (1915-D, 1918, 1920, 1930-D, 1947-D, 1950-D, 1951-S, 1956-D(2), 1958-D)
27 Canadian (1953, 1961, 1964, 1966, 1970, 1971(2), 1973, 1975, 1979, 1980, 1981(2), 1982(2), 1986, 1989(3), 1993(2), 1994(2), 1996, 1999, 2005(2))
1 Foreign (Switzerland, 10 Rappen (2002))

Only one bag left....hoping for some more older dates with mintmarks...or perhaps an Indian head as I haven't found one in awhile and I am about due for one.

Nice going GMan! A great selection of pre-1940 wheats. I'm curious about the dateless one. Is it unreadable because it's worn, or is it mutilated? You can always looks for a VDB on Lincoln's shoulder to see if it's pre-1918. Can you tell if there's a mintmark?

Its pretty worn and there's some crud on it as well. I believe it a 191X possibly 1916, but just can't be sure. It also almost appears as a piece of the copper has chipped off where the last two digits would be, though it could just be the crud chipped off. Basically without some cleaning I don't think the date is readable. Its not worth much either way. Also, I am about 95% sure there is no mintmark.
