I'll assume it's nearly pure silver and weights an ounce; therefore the spot market value of silver per ounce is a close guess as to its value--unless, of course, you buy into the Franklin Mint 'spin' of 'limited quantity', highest mint quality, attractive packaging, etc. If the price of silver slips below $10 per ounce, it still may be worth $10 in Barbados.

No doubt the gross profit on the sale of this item was substantial at the time it was manufactured and first marketed--based on the actual cost versus the hyped value that was placed on the item then--and still is as seen in recent eBay ads.
