More super finds from Spain!Those Roman Coppers are sweet shape an that early Republican Quadran is an awesome find.You are in one of the ultimate spots to detect.

Hi Hispan,

How old is the figurine? The button is French all right. What I like and dislike at the same time about old French regimental buttons is that most of them were of pretty standard design. No diversity but can be easily IDed. Has its shank survived? The button itself maybe of the 18th century. That doesn't exclude of course that it was lost later.

Yes the Quadrans Roman Republic is my second of its kind in three years .... a coin of 2200 years approx. :D

The figurine pewter / lead is 18th or 19th century ... made these figures for a long time.
The button is Napoleonic from 16 Regiment .... but is the only button that such off-center (the number 16 is on its side) rear hitch is cage .

Yes, this Roman Numus seems that the emperor is looking to the sky :D .... the Medieval mount a surprise to clean it and see what looks like a Chinese temple :laughing7: .... but it is surely a Palace.

That off-centre strike makes it look so-o-o old, almost Roman :D. Bird cage shanks were used from 1780+.

Yes! the Button is certainly odd, for two reasons.
1, is the only button with the number in offset of Napoleonic army.
2 In this place there was no battle that I know, and most findings have not shown such as buckles and coins egemplo 19th century.
It is a strange finding, like many others ....

The Roman copper never made ​​Banner ...., but anyway I appreciate it.
It is unusual to find five Roman coins from the same period in the same place, probably belong to one Treasure but I I can not bring a bulldozer to retrieve it.
There are not many coins in surface but will try another visit .

but would not be good for anyone as there are very few intact Roman sites in my country and would destroy buried mosaics and tombs etc ... which are the real treasure. ;D
