1700s Dandy Button, Huge 14k Ring, Silvers, wheats, crotal bell

Got out with dave for a marathon today, he was on fire in the getting permission department, almost all he talked to said yes. Well dave put on another show, kicking my butt til the very last house we hit, all I had all day was the dandy button, crotal bell, and 3 wheats before the last permission. Ended up getting a 64 roosie, 1 wheat, .925 sterling heart, and a slammer of a 14K class ring from 2008 at the last house, the ring has a name in the inside so hopefully it will be easy tracking down the owner. Yes, it's been a crazy week here too George haha! Too many jobs on the go, not enough manpower...plus my wife is gone all week so it's tools, scaffolding, and dust, materials and site management....not to mention packing kid lunches, piano lessons, gymnastics, homework...

Looks like a great day out for you and tagging along with a permission obtainer like OD. Trying envision him asking, is it the sparkle/twinkle in the eye that nobody can resist, or is OD 6'5" and it's purely intimidation that gets the permission? Either way it's working and you killed it on the ring, good luck on the return.
The only big honking class ring I've ever found was back in the early 80's at a rest stop in the middle of Kansas, it was sitting over the flush handle of an urinal, and that didn't stop me.

The ring rang in solid 11-14, very repeatable, only down 3-4"
