This post his for two hunts I had this past Sunday and Monday. A total of 5 hours total was spent between the two days. I dug a good amount of iron both days and on Sunday the only keepers was part of a buckle, a round lead piece and what ended up being the best shape British Copper I have ever dug it is the 1739 one. You don't need any magnification at all to see the date and all the lettering and I don't have great eyes at all. Monday I got the musket ball, piece of a pewter utensil handle and the other King George II Copper. I can't get a date off of that one but some detail is still left. Thanks for reading and looking. Oh I forgot the weights diameters of the Coppers the unknown date one is 8.6grams and 27mm diameter and the 1739 is 9.0 grams and 28.5 mm in diameter.
