Had a quick lunchtime hunt at colonial field in Central Virginia. Did not produce much but at the end of the hunt was very fortunate to save this beautiful VA half Penny. My first one. Its in pretty good condition.
Given how long that coin has been in the ground, I'd say it is in fantastic shape. Nice to be able to cross something off the ole bucket list. Nicely done.
Nice looking VA halfpenny. I'm a little surprised it's you first considering where you live and the stuff you've been posting. But I'm sure it won't be your last. I have bagged five of those in SW PA and my first was by far my best.
Whites Spectrum XLT, Garrett AT Pro, Macro pinpointer, Garrett carrot pinpointer,
Lesch digger, Nel Tornado coil for ATPro, Garret ATMax with Nel Tornado coil
That thing is amazing! I want one. I can't believe I can't find one on the eastern shore of Maryland. Or if I have its toasted beyond recognition. Still toward the top of my bucket list. Inspirational.
