Well haven't had much time to be out lately, but managed to get in an hour in the recently harvested corn fields before the sun went down.

Boy was it worth it, my third spanish silver to date, and wow is is small and thin. The worn part on the top right of the obverse has me a bit concerned it may be counterfeit, but I think it may just be corrosion from years of fertilizer.

When I saw the date I was estatic, nothing like finding a coin with the date of our independence. :icon_thumleft:

I feel your pain waiting for the crops to be harvested, seems like every time I drove by this field the past couple of weeks it was the only one still with corn. Good luck when you get out there
