UPDATE: I JUST ADDED VIDEO OF THE COIN REVEAL (just having a little fun)

I went out for about an hour at an old place I call Colonial Parking lot. At dusk I had a deeeep hit. 9-10" down and through foundation rubble popped a green disk. It was too dark to ID so I waited... View attachment 1234454

I thought why not unveil it on video. But now I can't seem to figure out how to add one. Oh well.

Anyway here is the coin. She's toast but still hot stuff to me...

Anyway, had my first MD injury today. Tripped in the dark and shredded my palm on a rock. Finding a 1700's draped cheered me up, and some brandy in a little while will make me right as rain.

Enjoy

Steve

Damn scrappy. Your on fire. Do you use a machine or just walk around and find it !!

Charlie, I scoured the ground. I haven't been back since two sharpshooter friends of mine hit that place with me. The entire hour I didn't get a thing!

Thumbs up all day for a largie... I tried today at a New OLD foundation in the woods... Nothing coinish this time... But lots of iffy targets.... Go back to your site and find another please!! :laughing9::thumbsup:

I was actually swinging around where the foundation to a barn was...dunno why this signal suddenly appeared after I've hit there 5 or 6 times

That would make my day for sure, the only LC I've found so far is a Canada 1912 and have yet to snag a 1700's anything.

Sorry to hear about the mishap. That coin sure has the power to ease your pain, especially if you add Brandy. I picture a sweet looking brunette, now what are you going to drink?

I named Lady Liberty Brandy. Her hair is Amber colored. I'm going to drink with her tonight. Lol

Well done Scrappy.
I must take notice of your mishap
Like you I sometimes let my hunts take me into the Dark Zone of the day. I have been lucky so far.
Heal quick and go get another, but in the daylight this time.

I believe that it all depends on that sweet spot of the detectors coil. If you just skimmed the coin and maybe had the wrong speed or wrong direction, it probably didn't ring up quite right. I would list more variables, but it could be anything honestly... All that matters is you aligned the right conditions and you got that Drape' in the Pock'...

I couldn't agree more with that statement.

I just added a video of the coin reveal. Usually I field ID but it was pitch black and so I waited until I got home. Just for some fun, and maybe for T-netters that have not had the chance to find an old copper (yet!)

Another nice one Steve. I'm trying to figure out who gets out more - you or George. But it's probably a tie since it feels like you both get out every day.
