I went to the Oronoco park and detected along the lake in an area that was not for swimming. I had gotten a wheat cent in this area with the DFX and it was the E-Trac's turn.
First I dug the 1887 Indian cent and a few feet away I dug the 1902 and rechecked the hole and dug deeper around 6 inches and the ring was sticking out of the mud.
I had to wait until I got home and cleaned them to see what I had.

Ring looks like an oldie! Nice :icon_thumleft:
Thanks lennon631. I know Indian head cents were still around in the 1958 and the 1902 in the same hole. Still hard to determine what date range they were lost in. I'm not sure if it's a mans or woman's ring and it would have been nice if they had put a date in it. roger
