Today Civil, Howard, Sam, Scott and myself hit the old homestead
that I found the Hibernia Half penny at.

Sam got a unreadable Large cent, a '34 wheatie, and his first harmonica
reed.

Scott found a lot of odds and end, but this was his first hunt out of
his yard and he is still learning his machine. We all know what that
is like!

I think everybody had a good time, but, as usual, Civil and I were left
to finish out the day by ourselves. We were cleaning up!!

I came away with an 1807 Draped bust Large Cent. I found a buffalo
nickel 1925, a wheatie 1930, and a silver quarter 1935 all in the same
hole!!! It was hard to walk away from that hole!!! Then I found another
1930 wheatie down the hill. Also I found a silver thimble, and 4 tombac(?)
buttons. One of them has silver plating on the front.

Can't wait to hit it again, but I have a gold hunting trip to california this next
week...........wish me luck!!!

Thanks for looking. Dig well!!!

Awesome Large Cent! You got the best coin I see. Looks to be in super shape. Fun to have a nice property like that to share. Should produce some more good stuff. Good luck with the gold hunt.

Ty, Outstanding hunt ! Man that 1807 large cent has got plenty of detail showing. I'd stick to that location

like glue till there was'nt a lowly wheatie left. All the best ! Gregory, Santa Fe.
