Hello fellow Diggers-

Today my friend Dave & I got out to our favorite site in the western part of Virginia where we have had very good success with many buttons, lead, 3 US belt buckles and various silver and other 18/19th century coins we have been very blessed and fortunate to have recovered. Although we got off to a late start today, we did make some nice saves.

I finished with a 2 hole trouser button, five bullets (fired .44, fired gardner, fired .58, a drop .58 swag, and what appears to be a pulled .58.

I also dug my first large cent for the new year-a 1819 Coronet cent, my oldest coronet cent to date.

HH.

Great recoveries. Short or long hunt, I would be thrilled to death with those finds.
