1828 Counterstamped Large cent

I got out today and found a couple of keepers.

1828 counterstamped large cent with US all over it. I can't find anything on it. Any help would be appreciated.

I also found 4 musket balls, a 1918 merc and some buttons and buckles etc...

Unique, but counterstamps are just made with a punch is all. Anyone can do it.
