Hi all,,
I have this 1856 FE cent, worn but still can see last number six in date,
I enlarged the pic and played with the contast a bit to bring out the date with the 185 and 6 circled in red

Even in low grades an 1856 is valuable. I can't see a 6, but if you are sure then the only thing you can do is have it authenticated by a professional grader.

I see the same thing, and just outside the circle to the right is the corner of the 7. After you see it in that picture, it is easier to make out in the picture next to it. Also, research on the '56 indicates that the likelihood of finding one in the dirt or in that condition is not likely. At all.
