I picked up 3 boxes Tuesday from my usual bank with high hopes of lots of silver :)
The middle of the first box I saw a funny looking coin, must be Spanish? When I read United States on it I knew it was a new one for me. 1893 Worlds Columbian Exposition Commemorative :) :) :)
Only took about 60,000 coins to find one!!
Of the 3 boxes box one 1-1893, 1-90%, and 2-40%
box two SKUNK
Box three SKUNK (sure glad I found something in the first box)

I also on Tuesday opened up an account at a new bank to get two boxes each Wednesday :) Now I'll get two boxes on Tuesday, two boxes on Wednesday and two boxes on Thursday, sure hope they have some keepers!!

Nice find ! I have yet to find a commemorative of any kind, but Im tryin !!

Where you from Prism ? Only asking because a friend of mine called TODAY
and wanted me to look up a coin value in my Red Book for a relative of his. The
exact same coin and date...... today - weird ! Probably a coincidence, but still LOL

Again, very nice !

Most excellent find, indeed. Now you've just got to find his twin brother; the 1892 version. 8)

Good luck.

Thanks everyone, out of the dozen or so hobbies I've had in my life so far this is the first one NOT to drain my bank account :)

Thats pretty cool! I really want to find one of those. Once I find a silver half commemorative I will be done coin roll hunting and will give it up.

Belated April fools??
