1895 - Buffalo Dog Tag

[The Seeker]

This old dog tag was found near my camp site not long ago and it had a small rusted lock attached which fell into piece by the time I got it home....the other tag from the 1920's was found near the other in an area along a creek . Have not seen may dog tags from the 1800's ...Enjoy!

That should be worth a few bucks. Pre 1900 tags are very desirable.

ONe thing I forgot to mention is that tags from Territory dog tax tags will bring in TOP TOP dollar. If it is a rare tag, in good condition, and the state is printed on it, you may be looking at a top worth of $500. Of course that is the extreme condition, But any state territory tag will have more value than others
Territory tags exist from MN, AZ, OK.

Arizona became a state on valentines day 1912 so all pre 1900 tags are territories from there.... The most common one from that state is the 1899 Jerome tag which there are 18 known tags. Estimated worth nowadays is $40-$60
