I've had my bounty hunter detector for 6 months now. I put the poor thing in leaves, water , rocks found alot of neat stuff but nothing in real value. Couple weeks ago I just went in my front yard 2 feet from the curb and found a 1923 mercury dime. Wow first cool find of many. It was real important find and proud to tell people real treasure is everywhere just gotta have the intrest. When people ask me now what my first cool find I show them my dime I found. Thing is I made it into a pendant for a necklace. So now when people ask me I can tell them and show them whereever I'm at. Chris in maryland. Maryland is excellant coin and relic hunting. ;D

Nice find and idea, Chris.

Your first great find will always be saved by having it in pendant form. I've always admired people who can wear pendants. I'm a man and not the type to do the pendant thing. Too bad...I've got an awesome piece of eight I'd love to have mounted. But, I know it wouldn't fly for me.

Take care and keep digging that loot ;)
