Hi I just got a 1929 national currency in vf condition from bank of Boston. It is a star note and as I research it only 12 known to exist. Serial #A00007421*
I cannot find value anywhere and am curious because I was offered 1250.00 for it
If it is that rare and only a few exist how do u determine value. Can anyone give me a spread of value. Remember. Star note only 12 known.

You did not indicate what the denomination was. The Standard Catalog of United States Paper Money (31st Ed.) by George S. Cuhaj shows a FINE ($10) at $2500. But of course this is book value and not real time value.

Is it certified or "loose?"
