So yesterday I found a mysterious depression in the dirt and as I stepped over it a hole formed. The hole opened up into an underground chamber that turned out to be the passanger seat of an an early 20th century automobile. Inside the automobile was a timecapsule of 1930's art deco designs and artifacts. I excavated the vehicle a little but didn't have time to dig anything besides the interior cab, will return today to dig more. Last night my reserch revealed this vehicle is likely a 1936-1941 Packard Buisness Coupe, a luxury car that would have belonged to someone with some cash to spare.

Dream find? Hope there is spare change lost in the seats.... Now that is really cool. Are you going to excavate it completely? Is it on private or public land? Oh how my imagination is swirling.....lol

Wow - you got to let us know what else you find in the car. Personally, I wouldn't be able to sleep until I was able to search every inch inside the car - cooooool! Also - maybe it still has its license plate on the bumper! Yuppa - I couldn't sleep until I went through that entire car. :laughing7:

That’s one of the more interesting finds I’ve ever heard of! Let’s just hope there’s not a body in the trunk! :icon_pirat:

Now that's a find ! If you ever get around to excavating the entire car, I don't know if I would open the trunk ! Might be something in there you don't want to see.
