1940's Ballantine Beer Ball Knob Tap Handle. Rough Shape, but a Really Cool Find!

I found an early 1940's dump a couple of weeks ago that has 99% liquor bottles in it. Unfortunately, a good 90% of the bottles are broken. I've managed to salvage 70 whiskey bottles and 23 no deposit, no return beer bottles. All of them are from 1940 to 1943. Not worth much, but I'm having fun!

Anyway, today I found a really cool find. It's a Ballantine Ale ball knob tap handle. Not many of these on eBay, so they must be scarce. It's in pretty rough shape, but it should display okay. The base is broken and the back has crackling, but the logo is in nice shape. Hopefully, they'll be more of these knobs in the dump.

Here's a couple of pics:

Nice for the man cave. Whenever I find old beer relics I put them on display in the garage (my sanctum) :laughing7:.
You could even turn this piece into a doorknob.
