Visiting some of our folks this afternoon and of course I had my detector packed and charged. Just can't visit them without giving their yard a once around. Got pretty lucky this time with the silver quarter, 2 wheats and a bit of clad along with the usual amount of junk. Thanks for looking !!

very sweet, we just got through at a former burned house site, it was miserable. so many nails and iron that even if you found a decent signal in the iron, finding it was very frustrating for so many nails etc. but you had a cleaner spot if that was all that you found. congrats on finding some silver

Argentium, you are so right about the difficulty to even find the ground to hunt , let alone finding on a regular basis. Where I live it is so hard to find the old dirt to even pass your coil over. Take care my friend !!

Anytime you can recover some silver from among the trash it's a good day. Well done.

Yep on sinkers, this one wasn't even close to one. I have found plenty of Beach sinkers over the years I have Beach detected, but never one like this one. Wayyyy too small.....:laughing7:
