I'll add by asking a question.
Is that area on the edge of the memorial building cornice (pointed out by the loooong curving arrow) raised or recessed? I can't tell from the images.

Raised and it would probably be from a gouge on the die.
Recessed (incuse) and it is probably a contact mark from circulation.

The other square-ish area in the field by the corner looks to be a die crack. Don't usually see them change direction that quickly.

Yes, that area is a raised rectangle with that crack jumping to it.
It is really neat.
