Today I found not only my first but also my second Barber Quarter!
Hunting some sidewalk strips on my lunch break I found the 1914-D and was thrilled to find it. After work finished I decided to return and found the Roosevelt dime at the same area. Walked across the street and didn't have much luck. Was walking back to my truck and found one more iffy but high tone. Out popped what I thought was a clad quarter. Went back to the truck and shook the dirt off and noticed the face, immediately poured some water and saw it was a heavily tarnished 1899 Barber Quarter! Super thrilled!

This is also only my 2nd coin to come from the 1800s. Double thrilled!

Many sidewalk steps were old wagon trails. Great detecting. Go back to the sight. There is likely much more there! JB

Great job!
Sidewalk tear out finds are always fun to think about.
"Who lost this?"
"What were they doing here?"
