I only had a short solo hunt for 2.5 hours but it was enough to finish the main area of this Site. Although I had nothing really exciting I did manage in 2 short trips to beat by 1 Roman Coin the number we had last year from this field. That was a couple of trips with the 2 of us. So as good as you can hope for until the next deep plough which is what we will now wait for.

Tudor Button
Jetton
Broken Roman Amphora Strapend
9 Roman Coins

Nice handful of romans, and I see a jeton there too congrats

you always have the finds of a lifetime for any of us to drool over. Most of the time I am pretty ignorant of what you have found but I know that historically they are pretty ancient and awesome finds.

Yes, ancient is what we aim for. All we need now is a bit of luck to get that something a little different or a first of anything.

I sense another denarius is nearby. Good luck [emoji106]

Helped a mate dig out some ground ready for a shed base. Found the clay pipe bowl as I was digging.:laughing7:

Also as we were clearing out the old shed we found a near complete set of late 18th C Gun Furniture(Musket); Trigger Guard, Butt end, other bits... I handed to the owners & told them what they had.
