Hey Hey,
I've been coming down with a cold. So, what's the best medicine for a cold?? CRH'ing, of course!
Bank 1
$0.50 loose from the trays
Bank 2
$1.50 loose from the trays
1 - 40% 1966
Bank 3
NONE
Bank 4
$7 loose from the trays
Now this was interesting. I peered over the counter only to find 4 silver ones in a tellers tray. I asked for any halves. As the teller I was talking to was counting the halves, she says "oh, this one is silver". She sets it aside. Then she set the next one aside. I started to panic! I said, "Tell ya what. How about I keep 2 and you keep two?" She agreed. I wound up with:
1 - 90% 1964
1 - 40% 1965
She kept two 40%'ers.
Bank 5
$1.50 loose from the trays
1 - 40% 1969
Bank 6
(We have halves, but you are not a member of our Credit Union)
Bank 7
$2.50 loose from the trays
Bank 8
NONE
Bank 9
$2.50 loose from the trays
Bank 10
NONE
Bank 11
$20 in CWR's
Bank 12
$1.50 loose from the trays
Bank 13
The LT was out to lunch. They checked the ledger and said that they do have rolls of halves in the vault. They asked me to come back (which I will do tomorrow)
Bank 14
NONE
Bank 15
Another interesting one. The LT said "I have $130 in rolls, but they have been searched through. A guy who owns a coin shop across town brought them in." Knowing that the last 4 times I've heard someone say that, I found silver every time. And wouldn't you know it:
1 - 40% 1967
3 - 40% 1968's
Besides stopping at Bank 13, I planned another trip for tomorrow. I'm not going to let a runny nose put a kabosh on some CRH'ing!!
H$H!! (ahhhCHOOO!)
