2 hrs. and 1st ring (pic. added)

got out for 2 hours tonite, went to the local playground/hockey rinks. Found 6 pennies, 3 dimes and a small ring. Inside read sterling .925 norway. will try and post a photo later. so in 4 hrs of use the ace has provided .66 cents a ring and lots of scrap.

Good job on finding a first ring. Hang a lable on it now and save it.... Soon it will be joined by many others if you remember not to discriminate out pull tabs.. That's where the gold ones read.

I Have also had rings read as foil with my Ace250, but gold does usually come in the pulltab range. Silver is much easier to read for sure.
