2 LCs, 2 Shields,A Farthing, Two $100 Indians,Primo token, and Misc.

I have been pounding the only 3 field sites still huntable and found these.
The 1867 Indian head [semi key date] I found today at the same site that I found the two 1867 shield nickels. The only three coins that I found at that site. A Million to 1 odds I think.
The token came out pristine after a half hour in the tumbler and a thin coating of vaseline.
I thought it was a LC at first. [ same size]

Nice variety of better finds. You dont see many cut Large Cents. Your Indians are comming out of the ground in nice shape too.

I have to admit Merf i dont log on here alot anymore, just do a lot of looking. I just have to say i like your style of hunting. Your research really pays off! I think i will get a platt map of Vermilion county and give your style a shot. Very impressive finds my fellow Illini! Those key/semi-key wheats are always nice to find.
