Hit the beach in OV back to where the piles of debris are being removed from the beach. Went to the most recent pile that was taken away and had the hole back fuilled and sand spread around on the beach. First 3 targets were the 1929 Buffalo Nickle, Silver 1951 Rosie and Silver Standing Liberty 1/2 Dollar! No date (other than a "9" can be seen) Second one from this area and much better shape than the last one I found! Another hunter I ran into had hit the same area a day or so earlier and he had also pulled some silver from the same area. Just imagine how much more is buried back in the sand where the backfilled the holes! Guess we will have to wait for the rain, wind and tides to bring some more of that up for us! Afetr those three good targets (and a few pennies and wheaties) the rest of the hunt was somewhat uneventful... plannning on meeting up with gravediggermax today someplace. Hope we have good luck there as well...

Oh, and just as I was preparing to leave, the handle on the 720i scoop broke off! I heard it crack the other day at the ocean front but today it gave up the ghost....been doing allot of digging the last few months and most of that in the rocky trashy areas so I guess it was inevitable. After triiming the end a bit, the handle is 6" shorter so we'll see how it goes today! Thanks for looking!
