washingtons are so cool to find cause they seem to be so rare... makes me want to hunt to complete a roll but i don't even have half enough.

Excellent on finding 2 quarters at one time. I have only found 1 quarter ever. It came in change from Dunkin Donuts.... :coffee2:

Last bank I stopped at today gave me 2 boxes of 2011 Dimes, so I asked to exchange for a box of quarters which produced 2 1964d's. After I go over 50 skunks on the halves, I may just start mixing a few boxes of quarters with the dimes. Seeing the rim of a silver quarter is very exciting! Not quite like seeing a 90, but really close.

Though '64 quarters are 90%ers themselves......................

90 half.

1 90 half = 2 silver quarters = 5 silver dimes

personally, I think I would rather have 2 silver washingtons than a 1964 half dollar sometimes... nice job with the silver quarters!!! I have only did 1 quarter box and it was a skunk, can't imagine 2 in 1 box considering how rare a silver quarter is!

Very True.. back in those gold/silver backed days.. coins weighed in exact proportions.

90% half dollar = 12.5 g
90% quarter = 6.25 g
90% dime = 2.5 g

so essentially.. you found one 90% half dollar in that box of quarters... LOL
