$20 Star notes

New to this site and would gratefully accept any input.
I have read in the past years these were worth more than face value.
Just wondering in this messed up economy if anyone is still interested in them.
I recently aquired 20 crisp new $20 bills with all the serial numbers in consecutive order.
anybody know if they are worth any more than $400?

they are definitely worth more than 400 dollars! to the right buyer i'm sure you wouldn't have a problem getting $500 for the lot or split them up in groups of 10 and get $300 per group like this guy is doing on feebay http://www.ebay.com/itm/10-2006-US-...614?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item4841cbd0ce

A few yrs ago the same thing happened to me. I was going to a coin show, so I went to my bank's ATM and out popped about 20 star note 20's with consec serial numbers. Well I took them to the coin show and asked around and nobody wanted them. At a coin show and nobody wanted them, I finally traded a guy even for them because I wanted to buy a few coins for my collection. Hope you have better luck than I did.
