24K GOLD TODAY ! Also rings #22 & 23

Hey everyone ,
Got out early once again this morning and hunt two schools that I had been to only once before . The first school didn't have much but the third target I dug was a large gold colored pendent . It was very muddy so I just put it in my bag and moved on . The 2nd school I found most of my finds . I did find two rings , #22 & 23 . One is marked .925 and the other is a junker . I also found a .925 silver pendent that looks like a dollar sign with 5 clear stones .
When I got home and started cleaning the large gold colored pendent that I had found I saw the words , 9999 FINE GOLD :headbang: !!!!! It is a Year of the Cow Asian pendent , 24K gold :o!!! It weighs 11 grams ! I had the best gold item I have ever found and didn't even know it . Oh yea , clad total $8.59 ;D The pendent is worth $500.00 !

I hate to burst any ones bubble but.............

1. 24 Karat gold is extremely soft and malable. for having been pulled off of the chain
it was hanging on and surviving in an environment where it was found is not scratched
or bent as it might be for soft gold.

2. It is obviously made for a child. Would you have an elementary child wearing something
of that value at school?

3. The hole at the top is off centered slightly which denote a lesser quality. Would something
made of 24 K be almost perfect?

4. on the side with the Chinese characters, is that an intertwined G F at the top? Gold filled maybe?

Nice find by any means, but I don't think that it is solid 24 k!

Well it is real , It has been tested and passed . It is very soft and bendable . So sorry , you have not burst my bubble !
I always love when someone makes out a list of what they think is wrong and then at the end still says it a nice find .

Just got back from selling it . I got a check for $245.00 :headbang:!! I'm very happy with that . It turned out to be some where in between 22k and 24k . He bought it as 22k gold . :icon_thumright:
