Yep, I still do bank runs now and then. Those smoky casinos get to me after awhile.

Got a box of nickels and pennies at one bank and $9 in loose halves at another. Halves skunked me but the rest:

**Pennies**

40 of the 50 rolls were new 2007's :P but the 10 remaining rolls gave up four wheaties. Woulda been a great ratio if the rest of the box weren't all new ones.

Wheaties: :o 1913, 1941, 1947-D, 1953-D

The 1913 is really chewed up but the date is readable. It's the oldest coin I've found so far this year.

**Nickels**

Very happy with the results:

1940-D
1940-S
1941
1941-S (small S)
1943-P (silver, woo hoo!)
1944-P (let's hear it again for silver ;D ;D)
1946 (2)
1947
1953
1954
1954-D (2)
1954-S
1957 (2)
1957-D
1958-D (3)
1959-D (5)

WTG Immy.....I tried a box of nickels one time and my results weren't near yours. I think I found 4 or 5 (pre 60). I did find a bunch of 1964's though. Must have been a high mintage year I guess.

Congrats on the silver!

Funny you should say that, I find a lot of '64 nicks. Just as common for me as the '71 halves for some reason.

71D half - over 300 million minted. most of any half from any single mint in a given year. (second most - '67). When you combine mints for the '76 halves; there were over 530 million; but that also represents years 1975 & 1976.

64p and 64D (1.0 & 1.8 billion; respectively minted). Far and away the most prolific minted nickel; even today I believe (don't have my red book with me).
