Spent 3 hours hunting the wetsand and shallow surf today......I was pleasantly surprised with the amount of coins dug.....no gold or silver.....one interesting stainless steel ring though and a junk earring looks like it just might be a promising summer season as long as the water temp keeps going up and the weather cooperates.....HH.....Brian.....here are the pics.....

Nice ring and it looks like you have plenty of beach to hunt. Our water feels like a bath tub right now, but I'm not complaining, beats wearing a wet suit.....

This scoop is great!!i it is prefect for the type of hunting you do in the water down there....it is a tad heavy (8 lbs.) the screen is protected by a "cage" so to speak....I'm enclosing some closeup pics to illustrate my point. The link to the website of the dealer who carries these is.... http://www.demarcodetectorsales.com it is under beachcomber products on that site.....hh...Brian
