Yep, 3 more rings this morning, but before you get too excited.... two are junk and one is another titanium. I went out by myself this morning and the water was a little choppy but not too bad. Nevertheless, I did not go out past my knees although I got splashed up to my chin. Anyway back to my story.

I got pieces of broken sunglasses, a wingnut heavily encrusted, another hoop earring and $1.77 in clad plus the usual junk.

I also got 3 rings. Strange... one of the rings - the one with hearts on it is exactly like the one I found at the same place a couple weeks ago except that one had stars on it. Last March I found one at another place - same design but it had LOVE written all around it. It must be a popular ring with the kids.

Then I found a butterfly toe ring, the squeeze on kind.

Then just before I was ready to leave I got a nice hit but I couldn't find the darn target! I dug, and dug, and dug and almost gave up as a lost cause but it was such a nice tone! So I kept digging and out came the last ring of the day. It says Titanium FC inside so this one I know what it is AND I was able to get a good shot of the inside too. Now why can't I do this with all of them?

Here is the one I found yesterday and the one I found this morning side by side. I am assuming that the one I found yesterday with WTi in side is Titanium too.

Ok so they weren't all "nice" ones but I'm happy! I'll take it!

Sooooo any of you guys know where Titanium stands on precious metals? Being the most precious?

Gold
Platinium
Titanium ?????

Mumszie, those are some excellent finds. Just getting out and detecting no matter what one finds, it's just good for the heart & soul. :headbang:

titanium is not a precious metal.

it sells roughly for 12-20 dollars a pound

the rings you found can be bought for about 90 bucks retail

Keep the rings or sell them on eBay or craigslist.

titanium's biggest use is in jet engines.

Nice rings though

Got to love days like that, my last hunt was a bust. So I am glad to hear your finding stuff.
