Went down to the creek below one of our homesites. About 80 feet downhill and less than a quarter mile distance from the homesite. Not to bad going down the hill but climbing back up is a job. Found more there than I thought so going to look so more tomorrow. Good luck every body.

That’s some neat old iron! Good spot, looks like.

What’s the shovel (ferrule?) look like where the handle goes in? I found one like that with unusual crenellations.
