So must if you know, and for those of you who don't, I love on an old civil war battle ground. Hunting it has produced many goodies. Well today I felt like I would fight the tightly compacted gravel of my driveway and see what I could find. Wasn't too much but still a hunt I can be proud of. Found two big pieces of old cooper, a round ball, an old penny, some sort of metal cap, a decorative piece of brass shaped to look like grapes which definitively civil war period, above that is a piece of a fuse to a sawyer artillery round often referred to as a "silver dollar fuse", and an old toy truck. I'm sure there is more out there, and I'm sure I'll find it.

It's nice to walk out your door and be able to detect. I think my arm would be sore from detecting around my house everyday. Very neat finds.
