This site is unreal (same site as my Flying Eagle)! 9 Largies pulled from it and there are still a lot of target there hidden in iron. 12 Large Cents FTY and my second ever Trime. I can't find the back of the Hard Times Token anywhere online so hopefully it's an uncommon one

Nice group of finds and a nice site you have there. I think that is a Harrison Campaign Token rather than a hard times token.

That's what I thought too but keep seeing it listed as hard time token for some reason

It is the same size (compared to the LCs), the same drilled hole, and the same bust with birth date as one I found, except mine has the Log Cabin with "The Peoples Choice in the Year 1840" on the other side. I don't think I've ever seen one with your reverse though.

No clue why it's referred to as a hard times token

Thanks all! Just want to give hope to everyone that these sites exist it just takes research!

Went back for a few hours and dug probably 50 nails (they are everywhere) and scored these beauts. Decent targets are getting a lot harder to sniff out IMG_20210508_135953751_copy_600x800.jpg
