Well it took a week as last week I got 2 barbers from the same box and a bunch of other silvers I had images in my mind of opening a box to see rolls of barbers and walkers and maybe even a seated or two...
well its nice to dream.
The people at the bank were nice enough to tell me that if I did this many again they would have to charge $5 a box witch I can understand as it took me 4 trips to just cary the darn things to my car.
I got home and started searching.
Not as good As I had hoped but well considering the average.

No barbers...sorry,
But I did manage to get
23 40%
15 1964s
1 53 ben
1 41 walker
a couple proofs
some weird religious angle coin.

a box of nickels also yeilded some older dates a 1977S proof
and a 1949 10 pfenning coin, apperently the first coin issued in Germany after WWII
So it was not as good as I had dreamed but over all If I melted I would have gotten about %2.5 back on investment. So not too bad. most of the coins were marked and searched, but someones collection got in there and some others.
So I am going on a trip this week end and hope to hit some small banks, we will see what happens. But my stash is growing nicely!

yeah I got a hand full of old nickels but no silver and nothing to brag about. Best was a 39 and a few 40's 50's The odd one was the proof 77, dont know how often they come up. and the German coin was a surprise!
