After all the problems I have thought I had with my new etrac. I really hate to say this but can you believe it was more like a loose nut behind the detector. I contacted Norris with 417 relic hunters and found that their club was having a get together today in Ash Grove. Then talked with Steve and he pretty much said to come on down and they would look at the detector. Long story short, I met a great group of guys and plan on becoming a new member next month. I only hunted for about 30 or 45 minute but had some good information passed on to me by several of the members and then there was Kelly, who put the numbers on my machine and told me that he basically hunted with them in the condition we were in, a park. Anyway, I am not sure if they are on this site also but if so......I just wanted to thank a great bunch of guys for all their help. Oh and by the way.....along with a horseshoe, harness type ring, and a little lead whatsit....I came up with this gold ring(10K). There is nothing that looks better than a piece of gold band looking out at you from a dirt clod...lol. Thanks again all now here are pictures of the whatsit and ring.

Happy Hunting,
Greg
