Took a hike today to find some foundations, I found 6, but all have been detected. Hunted a few of them for a bit. Found these at 2 different foundations. The draped bust is 1802. I put wax on it and you can see it in the picture. The bigger one is toasted. It read up 81 at 3 inches. It's thinner that a us large cent and a little bigger too. Don't know what it is. image.jpegimage.jpeg

That's a beauty, congrats!

You seem to be pretty prolific in the copper finding department this year Tony. You're gonna have the full set of draped busts by July. Hopefully the next one is an 1804 or a 1799. Hopefully we can get back to those other foundations this weekend sometime. A shame I had to work today. The bigger one certainly seems to be a copper of some sort but I can't make out any detail either. Congrats bro. :occasion14:

I really wish unidentifiable old coppers were worth big bucks, don't you?:tongue3: Congrats on the DB's. Many people will never find even one.

Congratz! That 1803 looks pretty good!

Nice copper, would love to get that off my bucket list. Congrats !!!!!
