5" DD on 3300?

Will the 5" DD coil with the push type connector shown for the BH Platinum on metaldetector.com work on the RS Discovery 3300? I saw a post where the 11" DD for the Platinum will work on the 3300 because it has the push type connector. I am hoping the 5" DD would work as well. Great for hunting trashy sites in more mineralized ground. Have any of you guys used it on a 3300? If so, how did it work...good, bad?

The Platinum searchcoils will not work on the 3300. The BH 4 inch "sniper coil" will work, is known for performing well in the trash, and doesn't even cost a lot. The only DD available for the 3300 is the one which was originally developed for the Fisher F2/4 back when those models had push-on connectors.
