It's in very poor condition and we would need to see details of the cascable and breech- that's at the back of the cannon. Looks like late 17th early 18th century. Probably English. Again you need to look for marks- face of the trunnions and in front of the touch hole, but realistically, given the state of this piece, you probably won't find anything.

Hard to tell how low the trunions are mounted. If they are centered on the barrel it is likely a later cannon, early to mid 1800s.

Since the cannon is located in a Park, try reading the brochures or ask a Docent.
