I got out for 5 hours today. I managed to find 6 ships spikes,1 .40 caliber fired musketball 5 lbs of sinkers and net weights. one of the sinkers weighs half a pound at least. 5 fishing lures, one is an old brass or copper lure, 5 railroad spikes, one outboard motor propeller lobe, what kind of looks like a tie rod end. it might be from the steering linkage on the old fishtug that broke up here in 1969,and a different kind of lead seal. it has some writing stamped on it. I can see an "M" "L" and "N" on it. but I cannot make anything else on it. where the wire went through is hollow as the wire has rusted away. it reminds me of the lead seals put on electric meters. the water was just beautifull no wetsuit needed.
