The first three finds are now very good, it is difficult hunt as old hammered in my area only two or three per month, are much more frequent hammered 16th century. (were the last to be manufactured) The coin weight is the best hunted today , but in this place have appeared six in the last two months ....

Thanks for you interesting!

There are many types and styles of hammered different ages and belonging to different values.
I have to warn you only really hammered coins are made between the 6th century and 15th century, which are made by hand with a punch hitting and recording a relief. (The coins made with mill machines or other types are is not hammered :angry7: , nor the coins after the 15th century)
I alone hunt hammered the 12th to the 15th centuries :-\ , those of previous centuries are very rare, because my country was almost depopulated . During these centuries manufacture a coins with 34% silver mixed with copper, we call them " Diner de Tern" (these coins are small and of poor quality because my country was in crisis because of the constant wars :violent1: , but from the 13th century, besides extending the values and manufactured hammered largest pure silver 100 % and Gold. (these coins are better to pay the soldiers to conquer new territories to Muslims and to compete with the most common coins made other European countries.) then make the coins we call "Croat "which are 100% silver and" Florí "which are gold. (the Golden hammered are unknown to me :laughing7: ... but surely hunt some soon)
The coins that I'm talking about are only those that were manufactured in the Kingdom of Aragon and Catalonia during the Middle Ages, the rest of Spain were different.

I have made a family photo of the best Medieval coin weight found in the area of the vineyards not are all ..... only the best. :D
