Another fun day out swinging the MD..
I know the first thing your going to ask about the $40.00 in cash.
I will get to it give me time!
We have been getting rain here every day it seems, yesterday was no different.
But I was up early to head over to the park where there was a big fireworks show last night.
Not a soul in sight, okay it is 5:30 am. Trash everywhere! I picked up all the medal trash for sure.
Ringing up clad after clad coin hits. Yeah dawg $22.86 in clad!
Swinging for about an hour or so when another car pulled up in the lot. I don't think to much about it.
I keep swinging the coil when this lady scared the crap out of me tapping on my shoulder.
Okay she has my attention! Then asked me this question, "is that a medal detector?"
I said no mam it is an "electronic worm finder!"
No kidding here what she said "Shucks I was hoping it could help me find my ring I lost last night."
Turns around and starts to walk away. I look at it as pay back for scarring the crap out of me.
I started laughing and said "Mam it is a medal detector I was just messing with ya"
She asked if I could help her find her ring? I told her I would be happy to help.
She showed me where they were last night and I got after it.
30 Minutes later bingo found the ring. What a great feeling!
She was really a happy lady at this point. Tried to give me $20.00 in cash right there.
I said no I was just happy I could find it for her.
She thanked me and was gone.
With in 30 feet of where I found the ring the 14K bracelet popped up.
Thought it might have been from last night but it was at 3" deep
Cool thing is all the rain has made the ground really soft to dig.
Found the silver on the walking path.
I hunted another hour or so and walked back to my jeep.
There under the windshield wiper was the $40.00
Made my day!
