65 & 63 Fatty IHP's, & ?

I haven't hunted much at all in the last couple months due to my business and I doubt I will be able to hit it hard now even if the crops are coming off. Found these yesterday but finally posting them today. Found one 1863 fatty and the ever-popular 1865 IHP. Can anyone tell me anything about the button-like item? It looks like someone may have put the hole in it at one time with a square nail but was it a button or something else? Thanks!

Nice indian heads. I think the button thingy is the knob from a lamp.

I'll second that. Thumbwheel from an oil lamp.
Score on the Indians.

Nice digs WH. Wondered where you have been lately ::) I'd have to say lamp knob as they have the date on them. I have found 4 all with 186? dates

You're probably right, don't know why I didn't think of that although most of the ones I seem to find our dated 1870's and newer. Thanks.
