Hmmmmmm, that brooch is barely passable, what which the nick out of the corner and all. I would suggest looking for one that's in a little better condition. No doubt they're just laying about like grains of sand.

Very nice Shaun i have yet to find that style of brooch

I have got an annular brooch of same period but its extremely encrusted

and i know not how to get the crud off without damage

will post same in another post so not as to hijack this thread for suggestions.
