is very difficult to find the buckles with pin ... but in this case it is clear that it was restored later,, that makes it even more interesting because the wire that was used for subsequent pin is much more modern .... this buckle was made during the 15th century and perhaps reused 17th century or 18th .... amazing.
it demonstrates the poverty of people who lived in Spain during the 17th and 18th centuries, including reused objects, when the empire was already about to end.

these spoons 19th century are very abitual find .... is Alpaca (False German Silver ).

Got a fair number with replacements, but then I have a lot of buckles & I don't even keep the broken bits (unless its a type I don't have). I think it would be fairly common practice to make do & repair in those days, its only us that like to throw away a perfectly good TV.
