we had and are having lots of northerly wind as i type this post. when i got up this morning i had planned on returning the jr Gman and go on with my life, but i said, what the heck, lots of wind, lets give it one more go.

i got some encouragement from my buddy nuke- em in england, he did really good on one of his beaches the other day.

so off i go this afternoon for low tide spin............o m g, like low boY said, she hits good on all size targets...........u just have to have targets to find and today she was on the meat. Hunted almost entirely in discriminate………..sent……100………..discriminate…………..31…..35….40…….47 – saw no difference in targets. When the targets are there, she hits on them strong so there is hardly any doubt on good targetsclad, toe ring even and some sort of thick, thin, large, and small pieces of brass.........looking for info. if u have any. my buddy tony said they are pieces of shell fragments from the firing range 5 miles north.

anyway the G2 got a great rating today and my plans to return are offff.

more to follow

max, try tying a small wire thin 10kt gold band to some fishing line or dental floss and burying the band and then testing. 4", 6", 8" would love to see your video of this test.

Hey you have found some of the same spent ammunition I have found up here in Bethany beach De. I can identify most of it, those small copper pieces I have no idea. I do know it was left over from WWII.

Here is some of this metal I found in a weekend after a storm;

I dont.... They do not look like "links"... Maybe shrapnel casing from fired practice arty rounds?
I agree, Looks like shrapnel from naval gunfire rounds. Maybe the 5 inchers.

today i took the g2 for a dry sand spin and to do a test for depth for u.

i carried 10k emerial ring and small eraser size gold medalion..........buried both targets about 8 inches or so......see pics

g2 could not hear either one
se pro could only hear the 10k ring.

end of tests........end of G2..........trading her for yet another GT

thanks for doing that test!!!!!!!!!! you may be overreacting though. not many machines will hit those low conductor targets at "8 inches or so" would love to see the same test with the sov gt, excal!!!!!! would also like to see the same test results in the wet sand!!!.
