On Saturday I hit a couple of good estate and barn sales. Paid $225 and here's the list of the loot:

$5 Jewelry box - 3 silver chains and 1 14k pendant
$100 Box of silver - Norwegian 830s silver service for 6 flatware set (forks, spoons, knives, teaspoons, platter, salad tongs, pastry tongs, pie servers, carving set and set of candlesticks), 2 plated rogers bros. tea services and a plated flatware set
$120 for Silver Eagles, Rounds, Bar, half dollars and a couple watches
The 830s silver set should be worth around $600-800, but i'm keeping it. Those Vikings make some fine silver, most is from th marthinsen. IMG_0203.JPG IMG_0205.JPG IMG_0202.JPG IMG_0200.JPG IMG_0199.JPG IMG_0204.JPG

You gent's know how to test for genuine pearls right? Gently rub the pearl on the front face of your tooth, if it is rough like sand paper it is real Nacre is rough, plastic or paint is not. This method does Not tell if cultured VS Natural though.
